Colored fabrics can be damaged by hot water, high heat, direct sunlight, friction, and harsh detergents.
Some fading is NORMAL with any colored fabrics. Severe damage or fading to the fabric itself if HOT WATER or HIGH HEAT is used.
These are good quality products, but you must take proper care of them.
Sheets and comforters, as well as clothing or any other consumer goods made from any type of fabric have washing instruction for a reason.
